DBMM - Benny (Later Macedonians) played Wayne (Greco-Indians) in a 15mm practice game before Wayne takes his army to a tournament in Thailand
Glory is Fleeting - a 4000 point a side game between Brett and Gerard (1813 Russians and Austrians) and Philip and Shaun (1813 French and Poles)
Crossfire - in a game most appropriate to Anzac weekend, Bruce and Grant had a game with the Maori Battalion attacking Italians on Takrouna ridge.
Flames of War - Andrew (U.S.) played Sofia (Italians)
Club meeting 12 April 2026
Lots of wind and rain today (difference of 3 on the weather roll) but that didn't stop hardy players coming along for some games.
Glory is Fleeting - Andrew (Prussians) played Brett (French Imperial Guard). Andrew, recently crowned NZ Glory is Fleeting champion at the Nationals over Easter, had to concede to Brett in this game.

Annual General Meeting 22 February 2026
At our AGM we re-elected the committee (Steve, Stu and Kit) and left the fees unchanged at $50 for the year. Thanks to everyone who attended the meeting and signed up for another year. If you wish to pay online, the club's account is 03-0181-0079415-000 (North Shore Wargames Club)

We had a good turnout at the club today with an interesting variety of games.
Saga - Brett and Daniel had two practice games using Britons and Spanish
DBMM 25mm - Mark (Classical Indians) played Philip (Saite Egyptians). The old ranges of Hinchliffe Indians were much admired in their new paint jobs.
Valour and Fortitude ECW - Kit and Shaun tried out the new English Civil War variant of V&F using English and Scots Royalists in 15mm scale
